I've decided to start knitting, once again. I say, "once again" because I have actually knitted before...shocking, I know! My best friend Kristy taught me how to do this at one point in my life. I wanted to pick it up again but could not seem to find all of my knitting paraphenalia (i.e. yarn, needles...well, that's pretty much it) in the depths of my parents' house. So, I have started anew.
Luckily, my friend Katy from WS loves to knit and proceeded to come over and get me started last night. I have this wonderful new yarn that bright fuschia, purple, turquoise, green and blue (it's really not garish, I promise) and will look excellent as a scarf. That's what I'm currently creating, a scarf. I also got some soft yellow yarn today to make my Grandma B. a scarf for Christmas. I'm crossing my fingers that: 1. she would like a yellow scarf and 2. I don't lose momentum and creative energy to get this done before Christmas.
It's actually kind of relaxing, once you get the hang of it.

I knit a potholder once. It was beauteous. Becca makes fun of it, but it is gorgeous.
It didn't really look like a pot holder...but it was indeed work of art.
I think I might need to see said potholder some day.
It was a FABULOUS pot holder Kimberly...and I've yet to see you make a more lovely one.
Ooh, Kim, you got served!!! Busted!
OH MY LORD!!! You haven't shown her your "potholder" yet???
I'm going to take a picture of it and post it on my blog... You'll see!
I've just been informed that it's sacred and I can't post it.
HA. You don't have a camera to take pictures with! HA! (BTW...you are so mean, and my potholder is beauteous.)
The fact that I am talking to "Her" as she types these blasphemous comments is beyond me..
You forgot the " "
A sacred potholder??? Where has this been all my life??? Or, at least, as long as I have known you--wait, that's 8 years already! Oh, *sigh*.
